Profile
A type of jellyfish that feeds on the undersea cables that carry power across continents.
These creatures are seen as a menace not only because their feeding results in intermittent service outages, but also because of the poison created as a byproduct when they gorge on the energy contained within the cables.
A solution to this problem that is satisfactory to both the power companies and jellyfish has yet to be found.
